Biometrics done responsibly
Face data is special-category data under UK GDPR. Empliora is built for it: you complete a short Data Protection Impact Assessment before switching face recognition on, each employee gives explicit consent, and matching happens on the device. A manager can verify anyone who prefers not to use their face or isn't recognised. Only a numeric face template is ever stored, never a photograph.
